We have obtained this rare Lotus from a collection.

Joop Donkervoort delivered this car in 1971 as a kit, wider en longer than an English Lotus Super seven. The new owner built the car with a very special engine, not a Ford but an Alfa 1600 double-breeder. With 125 hp and a great sound, the most desirable Lotus you could wish for. The car has stood still until 2005 as a collector's item. In 2006 the car was technically completely taken care of, engine dismantled etc. Then it has been used more regular on the road. The car has a beautiful patina, drives fantastic and is a unique piece of history. This car is exactly the same as the first Donkervoort, the S7 that was made in 1978.
