Purchased this 1986 Ferrari Testarossa less than a year ago from a renowned doctor (second owner), who's also a collector of more than a dozen high-end exotic and classic cars. The Testarossa: the doctor loved it, I love it, and so did: Michael Jordan, Mike Tyson, Jordan Belfort, Elton John, O.J. Simpson, Rod Stewart, Dr. Dre, Suge Knight, Gerhard Berger, and Don Johnson of Miami Vice. So, yeah, it's safe to say that you're in good company if you happen to own one.
Most recent full service was done in mid-2016. All stock except for the tubi exhaust system (I like it loud). If you prefer the original exhaust, I still have it with me and I would gladly have it reinstalled free of charge just for you.
This 4.9 liter, flat-12, mean machine features that much-coveted rare single flying mirror (produced only in 1985-1986 by Ferrari). It also comes in its original rosso corsa (Italian racing red) paint, complimented by an exquisite tan interior, and those good ol' complete set of knock off wheels.
The car runs great as it has logged in 82,000 miles on the odometer. Not low mileage, not high mileage either. This roaring redhead is a daily driver car. It is destined to be king of the road, not queen of your garage.
Its air-conditioning needs recharge if you prefer it super-cold and it has 2 small blemishes on its side exterior (both of which are shown in the photos provided). Besides those issues the car is in tip-top shape. Both windows go up and down without issues. All lights (headlights, dash lights, tail lights, etc.), all essential parts, all functioning.
Expect it to run another 82,000 miles and more, after all, it is a Ferrari. To the next owner of this supercar, I strongly suggest that you drive it often. It is meant for you and you alone to enjoy. And it comes at an awesome bargain. There's not a lot of true-blue redheads ('testa rossa' literally translates to 'red head' in Italian) out there in the market priced under six-figure. There is no catch; this is the real deal. So better snag it quick before I change my mind.
