CSL: Coupe, sporty and light. Three adjectives that distinguish the main characteristics of the car. The extremely rare 3.0 CSL takes the legendary nickname "Batmobile" from the recognizable silhouette given by the many ailerons placed on the car, aimed at improving aerodynamic flows. Lightness arises from the needs imposed in competitions, where weight plays a fundamental role in the success of success. The production of road cars at the time was very limited, the production of the BMW 3.0 CSL was limited to 167 units.
In 1973 the driver Toine Hezemans driving a BMW 3.0 CSL won the European Tourism Championship, victories that also came from 1975 to 1979 thus entering the Olympus of the racing cars that marked history.
The proposed BMW 3.0 CSL "Batmobile" is an object with a very high value. You find it in original condition and provided with an authenticated letter from BMW Italia S.p.A. This car is one of the very few cars imported into Italy more than twenty years ago, part of an important Italian collection, which has never raced and has a very low mileage.
