The Porsche 356 is a luxury sports car that was originally produced by the Austrian company Porsche Konstruktionen GesmbH in the years 1948-1949 and then in Germany by Dr.Ing.h.do. F. Porsche GmbH from 1950-1965 to 2006. It was the first car produced by Porsche.
The 356 Model is a lightweight and manoeuvrable car with rear engine and rear-wheel drive, two-door, manufactured in coupe and open versions. In total, 76.000 pieces of the 356 model were produced, which around half survived to current times. The 356 model was produced two years after the debut of the 901 model (later 911), which took place in the year 1963. Model 356 C was introduced to the market 1964 year. A novelty in this model were disc brakes and an available motor with a high power output of 95 HP.
