The Porsche 993, replacing the 964 model of the Porsche 911 era, was manufactured and sold from January 1994 till 1998 and were manufactured in the German factory located in Zuffenhausen, Stuttgart.
The Porsche 993 was the last air-cooled 911 models Porsche manufactured. Nearly the entire model 993 was newly designed with only 20% of the parts from its predecessor being carried over. Porsche refers to the 993 as "a significant advance, not just from a technical, but also a visual perspective."In total, 68,029 Porsche 993 in all variations were built. This being a Porsche 911 Carrera 2 993 Coupé with 282 HP, only 8,586 were built. The coupé is also the stiffest, tightest, most solid, yet lightest of the 993 models.
The 993 is widely considered the most desirable and loved model of the 911 series of Porsche.
This Porsche 911 Carrera 2 993 3.6 Coupe was newly delivered to Japan and registered on the 8th of January 1996. The car was imported and registered in 2018 to The Netherlands and still holds its Dutch registration.
