1966 Volvo P1800 in very nice driving condition.
- Originally California car which in was 2014 imported through the Netherlands.
Restored upon arrival.
- Restored over the course of 2 years, starting with body blasting,
replacing sills, rear and front fenders.
- Engine was re-drilled, oversized pistons, new camshaft, new bearings,
gaskets, valves, valve guides were fitted.
- Gearbox completely rebuilt, including new bearings, syncros and all
retaining rings.
- New wiring harness installed, all bushings, ball joints and seals
replaced.
- Rear axle received new bearings and tuned.
- New stainless steel exhaust with a slightly sportier sound installed.
- Adjustable shock absorbers and lowered suspension kit installed.
- All trim has been re-chromed or replaced, new stainless steel bumpers
installed.
- New fuel tank.
- The beige leather interior was reupholstered, including seats, door cards and
stair panels. All carpets were replaced.
- All counters restored.
- Brake booster modernized, new steering wheel with speed sensitive
power steering.
- New Retrosound stereo, hands-free wireless phone connection, additional speakers
and amplifier installed. .
- Since restoration the car has driven about 7000 km (summer only),
She drives like a modern car thanks to the brakes, improved engine, overdrive and
power steering.
This Volvo P1800 comes with all original receipts from maintenance restoration.
