Description

The third generation of Chevy's C/K series, typically known as the "Square Body" or "Rounded Line" generation, is quickly becoming a fan favorite thanks to its strong looks and stout stance. This numbers-matching 1974 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne is decked out in a beautiful full Skyline Blue repaint, complemented by its aggressive cowl hood and a redone black bed.

Inside, we find a nicely designed blue vinyl interior featuring a spacious bench seat that offers an expansive view of the body-color dashboard. Woodgrain panels and map holders are also found on both doors. A two-spoke, power-assisted wheel sits just ahead of a six-pod gauge cluster, featuring a large 100 mph speedometer and a matching fuel gauge, which take center stage. A quartet of auxiliary gauges sits to the left of the steering column, and a trio of white-faced aftermarket gauges has been added under the dash for additional feedback. A retro-style AM/FM/AUX head unit fits nicely in the original location, while sliding HVAC controls keep temperature control nice and easy.

Under the hood, we find a numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V-8 engine. From the factory, this engine pumped out approximately 175 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. This small block adds a single four-barrel Edelbrock carburetor, while spent gases are expelled through a true-dual exhaust capped off with a set of FlowMaster mufflers. Power is routed through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission before heading out to the factory 12-bolt rear end that transfers those ponies to the pavement via a set of 15-inch body-color-matched wheels, complete with trick spinner-style center caps shod in 295/50R-15 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires at all four corners.
