Description

Can’t afford a trailer queen but still want that Classic Camaro you have been saving for? This one could be a contender! This two owner matching number Rally Sport Camaro was purchased by the previous owner around 40 years ago and time and not being able to take care of it has taken it’s toll on it’s appearance. The original color combination was finished in Marina Blue with matching Blue interior per the trim tag. It now has 40 year old faded Red paint with Black stripes, rear spoiler, steel cowl induction hood, original RS hideaway lights and a staggered set of 15 inch Rally Wheels. The body and chassis are 90% rust free as it has been in California since new but the left rear quarter behind the wheel and interior trunk pan need repair. Those two patch panels are included in the sale. The original ML code 327/275 Horsepower 327 V8 with factory disc brakes and power steering runs well and just went through servicing. The Muncie 4 speed manual transmission shifts as it should and the rear differential also appears to be original. The old and tattered interior is now Black vinyl with bucket seats, center console with Hurst shifter, factory gauges, factory tachometer, original AM Radio and original steering wheel are all complete and easily restorable as parts for these cars are readily available. Our asking price may go up if we end up having time to start the process of restoring it but it would be a fun project that is drivable now, just not all shiny and new yet!
