See for information in English down belowFerrari 308 Vetroresina 1976• 'Ferrari Classiche' present• Completely returned to original condition• 1 of 712 copies produced• Matching Numbers• European delivered• Original toolkit present and complete• Very rare ‘Azzurro Metallizzato’ paintwork• 'Pelle Beige' interior• Provided with major service including timing belt at Ferrari Kroymans in 2025HISTORY/DOCUMENTATIONVetroresina: Italian for fiberglass. It is the name of the first series of the Ferrari 308, of which only 712 were built. Because the body is made of fiberglass, it is as much as 150 kg lighter than the "standard" Ferrari 308. A rarity and therefore precious, explicitly this example. The Ferrari has a 'Ferrari Classiche' certificate (issued in 2024): an examination report proving the authenticity of the Ferrari. These certificates are issued only by Ferrari Classiche in Maranello. This report alone is a work of art to behold. This report speaks for itself: the Ferrari has been completely restored to its original condition. Present with the car are the original instruction booklet, service booklet and extensive maintenance documentation. The car has been registered in the Netherlands since 2019. EXTERIORWhat makes this example rather unique is the original rare color combination: 'Azzurro Metallizzato' light blue paintwork with cognac leather upholstery. Particularly tasteful and rare. The car was recently restored where the paintwork was professionally repainted new. The optical condition is therefore excellent. During disassembly and reassembly, the car has been checked for the original fiberglass panels by reading the factory numbers on the back of these panels. All rims still have the original black 7 1/2 x 14 Campagnolo letters that are etched on the magnesium. The windows all around are still original and the original “California” side mirror is still present. Also, the bottom of the car is in top condition.INTERIORThe 'Pelle Beige' interior is as far as can be seen in very original condition: the carpets have only been cleaned and the dashboard edge is still in good condition. The headliner is also in good condition. These are indicators that the car has low mileage. All buttons and lights are working, something less obvious in the Vetroresina models. The seats are undamaged. A pleasant cockpit with nice counters, and otherwise equipped with exactly the luxury that is not superfluous: air conditioning and power windows. The air conditioning also works properly. The front trunk is also in clean condition. With the car is still present the original and complete repair kit.TECHNICALThe engine compartment is dry and shows the shiny V8 engine, which is original. The gearbox is also still original, as evidenced by the 'Ferrari Classiche' report. In 2025 a service was performed at the authorized Ferrari dealer Kroymans for a major service including replacement of the timing belt and new MOT (valid until February 2027).One can notice that the car has been technically well maintained, because it drives and shifts well. ALGENE INFORMATIONThe 308 was ééone of Ferrari's most successful models. So famous, in fact, that in 2004 it landed in 5th place of the “Top sports cars of the 1970s”. The car was designed by Italy's Scaglietti. It is the first series of the 308 GTB, built from 1975 to mid-1977. Thanks to its fiberglass body, the 308 GTB Vetroresina weighs only 1,050 kg, some’150 kg less than the later 308 GTB’s. Only 712 examples of this first series were made, making this the most sought-after version of the 308 GTB. About 400 examples are left-hand drive, where only a very small number come in the light blue color we offered. Whereas today the V8 mid-engine is inextricably linked to Ferrari, at the time of the 308 GTB this was still a new phenomenon. The V8 had only recently been introduced in the 308 GT4. The 2.9-liter V8 from that car also found its way to the 308 GTB. The engine remained otherwise unchanged, so that both the 308 GTB, just like the GT4, has 255 hp.A Vetroresina differs optically from the regular 308 by:- Reverse lights in the bumper instead of in the turn signals- On the A-pillar there is a black edge to connect the panels- The panel between the taillights is straight and has no recess for a license plate- Always equipped with a single exhaust
