Description

See for information in English down belowFerrari 308 Vetroresina 1977• Recent (2025) major service including timing belts at Ferrari dealer Kroymans• 'Ferrari Classiche' (2025) present• Completely returned to original condition• 1 of 712 produced• Matching numbers• European delivered• Original toolkit present and complete• Stylish color 'Argento Auteuil' • 'Pelle Nera' interior with black leather upholsteryHISTORY/DOCUMENTATIONVetroresina: Italian for fiberglass. It is the name of the first series of the Ferrari 308, of which only 712 were built. As much as 150 kg lighter than the "standard" Ferrari 308. A rarity and therefore precious. The Ferrari has a 'Ferrari Classiche' certificate: an examination report that proves the authenticity of the Ferrari. These certificates are issued only by Ferrari Classiche in Maranello. This report alone, issued in 2025, is a work of art to behold. This report speaks for itself: the Ferrari has been completely restored to its original condition. Built in 1977, this car is originally from France. In 1996, it read 71,865 kilometers and then the car ended up in the collection of a Spanish car collector. Here the car was stored dry and heated and also the Ferrari was often exhibited at shows and events. The car has been registered on Dutch license plates since 2018. Present with the car, in addition to the 'Ferrari Classiche' folder, are a French-language technical manual, valuation reports and many maintenance invoices. EXTERIORThis example is rare executed in the original color combination 'Argento Auteuil' silver paintwork with black leather upholstery in the 'Pelle Nera' interior. Particularly tasteful and rare. Characteristic is the original “California” side mirror. Optically, the Vetroresina is still in good condition: the paintwork is fresh and the rubbers are in good condition. The original 5-spoke alloy wheels are also in clean condition. The underside of the car is in top condition with no rust. The design by Pininfarina, with its wavy lines and distinctive folding headlights comes out very well in the tasteful color.INTERIORThe interior is also in very clean condition: free of damage and tears. The floor mats and headliner are clean and the leather is beautiful to see and feel. A pleasant cockpit with beautiful counters, and further equipped with exactly the luxury that is not superfluous: a Blaupunkt radio player, air conditioning and power windows. The front trunk is also in neat condition. The overall condition of the interior suggests that the Ferrari has low mileage. TECHNICALThe engine compartment is dry and shows the shiny V8 engine, which is original. The gearbox is also still original, as evidenced by the 'Ferrari Classiche' report. In 2015 the car was extensively serviced in Barcelona with an invoice amount of approx. €14,000. In January 2025 a major service including distribution was performed at Ferrari dealer Kroymans (worth € 3,400,-). The current MOT is valid until May 23, 2026. The brands notice that the car is technically well maintained, because it drives and shifts well. ALGENE INFORMATIONThe 308 was ééone of Ferrari's most successful models. So famous that in 2004 it landed in 5th place of the “Top sports cars of the 1970s”. This is the first series of the 308 GTB, built from 1975 to mid-1977. Thanks to its fiberglass body, the 308 GTB Vetroresina weighs only 1,050 kg, some’150 kg less than the later 308 GTB’s. Only 712 examples of these first series were made, making this the most sought-after version of the 308 GTB. About 400 examples are left-hand drive. Whereas the V8 mid-engine is inseparable from Ferrari today, at the time of the 308 GTB it was still a new phenomenon. The V8 had only recently been introduced in the 308 GT4. The 2.9-liter V8 from that car also found its way to the 308 GTB. The engine remained otherwise unchanged, so that both the 308 GTB, like the GT4, has 255 hp.A Vetroresina is distinguished from the regular 308 by:- Reversing lights in the bumper instead of in the turn signals- On the A-pillar there is a black edge to connect the panels- The panel between the taillights is straight and has no recess for a license plate- Always equipped with a single exhaust
