We offer for sale this magnificent Ferrari 348 ZAGATO Elaborazione (there number 3 out of the 10 copies produced)
A rare and unusual example of this 1990 Ferrari 348 TB special bodywork from the 90s and treated with the treatment offered by Zagato from 1990 to 1992.
The cosmetic package consisted of a new front bumper, the enlargement of the air intakes cooling, a configuration with three taillights and, perhaps most surprisingly, a lower roofline with the traditional âdouble humpâ characteristic of the house.
Added to this is an engine compartment cover with a glass part, designed precisely to allow the display of the V-8 engine with 4 overhead camshafts and 4 valves per cylinder with a displacement of 3400 cc.
In particular, the 348 TBs manufactured by Zagato lost the characteristic side air intakes and the rear "grid" grille, displaying a design that would later be used on the next Ferrari 355.
Among the equipment, the marvelous OZ rims Racing and interior, redesigned, covered in suede. To add even more charm to this Zagato 348 elaboration, its history consisted of 2 cautious owners.
With only 17,081 kilometers new, the car is in excellent overall condition, it is probably the most desirable example.
Furthermore, this 348 Zagato is incredibly rare and one of the few examples from an era when cars built with special bodywork were rare and often far removed, this 348 could be an important addition to any collection, particularly if it had a interest in the work of Carrozzeria Zagato.
Zagato therefore proposed to its customers to modify their 348 without touching the mechanics (it is not his domain for the bugger). Despite forecasts of 22 copies, only 10 customers modified their car in this way.
