FERRARI 365 GT 2 + 2, DESIGN PININFARINA
In autumn 1967 the "365 GT 2 + 2" Gran Tourismo was presented at the Paris Salon, a two-seater with two additional jump seats that replaced the successful "330 GT 2 + 2". The presentation of a new, more powerful “quasi” four-seater was the logical consequence of the sales development at Ferrari: Between 1960 and 1967, sales of four-seater models (250 GT / 330 GT 2 + 2) accounted for more than half of Ferrari's total production. This was taken into account in Maranello, and the 365 GT 2 + 2 was at its time the most comfortable Ferrari that had been built up to that point. It had independent suspension all around, coil springs, telescopic shock absorbers, power steering, central locking rims, air conditioning and a radio - equipment that was rather untypical for a sports car from Maranello at the time. 801 copies of the 365 GT 2 + 2 were produced between 1967 and 1971.
Scuderia Sportiva Colonia imported this “matching numbers” Ferrari 365 GT 2 + 2 from Monaco. The delivery color was "marone colorado metalizzato" with a tan interior. In this color combination there were only 3 pieces. manufactured. The 2nd owner repainted the vehicle on metallic silver. We will correct this error in the course of the revision work.
