Ferrari F40 is a super sports car produced by Ferrari between 1987 and 1992. Thanks to the use of technical solutions applied in cars participating in sports rallies (e.g. body made of plastic reinforced with carbon fibre), the car was an absolute hit in its time, constructed in accordance with the latest rules of technology. In 1986, the project was personally initiated by Enzo Ferrari on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the company, hence the name of the vehicle. The F40 was the fastest and most powerful Ferrari model to date for road use. It is a very special model in terms of its technical solutions and appearance. The last model developed under the leadership of Enzo Ferrari.
