In 1984 Ferrari introduced the Testarossa. The Pininfarina designed successor of the 512 BBi was a daring design with the characteristic sharkfins and the wide back. Ferrari decided for this daring design with her focus on gaining a foothold on the American market. The 12 cylinder with 390 horsepower enabled the car to achieve a topspeed of over 290 km/hour. The Testarossa in al the various specifications was built until 1995 and with just under 7200 vehicles built, was a huge success for Ferrari. The Testarossa gained enormous recognition being featured in the hitseries Miami Vice and became a real icon of the eighties.
The Testarossa Monospecchio / Monodado (single mirror / central wheel bolt) in our selection is one of the last built vehicles of the first type, the same as used in the popular Miami Vice series. The car is of Italian origin, had only 1 owner and is still on her first tyres. The car was located in a garage for a very long time and was completely restored by us in 2015. The car was completely repainted to the original specification, was extensively treated interiorwise. The suspension was renewed and the engine was completely disassembled and reassembled.
