Description

The 1991 Ferrari Testarossa marked the final years of an iconic era in Ferrari’s history. Originally launched in 1984 at the Paris Salon, the Testarossa evolved throughout the late '80s and early '90s, with the 1991 model being the last year of the original aerofoil styling by Pininfarina. Characterized by its bold, signature grooves designed to aid air flow and the wide rear track, the Testarossa stood as a symbol of exotic automotive design.

When you think back to cars and the 80s, nothing brings about memories like the iconic Ferrari Testarossa in Rossa Corsa, this was true Italian royalty.

Under the rear engine cover sat a 4.9-liter 180 degree V12 engine with four valves per cylinder producing around 390 horsepower. Paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, the Testarossa is good for 0–100km/h in about 5.2 seconds and a top speed exceeding 290 km/h—performance figures that kept it competitive among supercars of its day.

Built with a focus on long-distance comfort as much as speed, the Testarossa featured a wider body for better stability, advanced (for its time) rear suspension, and a luxurious leather interior. The 1991 version benefited from incremental refinements in build quality and mechanical reliability, making it a pure and desirable Testarossa for collectors today.

This example was sold new in Italy from Radicci Automobili S.r.L on the 8th of February 1991. First owner was Mr. Marzano Annunziata. According to the original service book, the first service was done six months later at 1500km with Ferrari Service Conti & Malucelli S.r.L.

Mr. Annunziata clearly used the Testarossa sparingly, as in April of 1995 the Testarossa had covered a mere 5502km at its next service. Fast forward to 2002 when a total of 24.099km had been covered and the Testarossa was due for service, this time by Motor Service S.r.L., a Ferrari and Maserati specialist in Modena. The last service in Italy was at 31.686km in 2004, again with Motor Service S.r.L.

In 2006 the Testarossa was sold to a Spanish doctor and relocated to the Island of Tenerife. Up until 2024 the second owner used the car regularly on the Island of Tenerife but never excessively and always had it serviced at the same garage. In nearly twenty years of ownership he would clock up just over 20.000kms and in 2024 the Testarossa had covered a documented 56.266km.

The last big service and belt change was in 2019 at 53.000km amounting to 4000Euros in parts alone. Invoice included.

Today the Testarossa has covered 60.073km in total and form part of a collection of cars in Denmark.

The exterior presents in perfect condition. No corrosion or signs of damage to the chassis or the body.

The interior is original throughout and very well kept. The black leather seats are very subtly broken in and tell a story of a well preserved, original car. The dials are crisp and clean while the Momo steering wheel gives a nod to the racing heritage of Ferrari.

A Ferrari sports exhaust has been fitted in the past giving the Testarossa a high and striking note when being rev’ed and a deep, raspy sound when ticking over. Quite addictive. If this is not your thing, the original exhaust is with the car, in good shape and ready to fit. The alloy rims and Brembo brakes were also upgraded and are superior to the original set up, but again the original Ferrari Testarossa alloy rims come with the car. The original Ferrari leather tool kit and map/emergency light are still with the car as well as an original Ferrari branded car cover.

The Testarossa offered here, is as close to perfect as they come and offers the complete Ferrari experience with no foreseeable costs, a turn key example ready to be enjoyed.
