Ferrari introduceerde de F355 eind 1994 als vervanger van de 348 reeks, die door het publiek met gemengde gevoelens was ontvangen. Alhoewel de F355 grotendeels gebaseerd was op de 348, waren er zo wel optisch en motorisch ingrijpende veranderingen. Buiten een fikse vermogenstoename, was er veel werk verricht betreffende verbetering van de wegligging. Optisch enorm gemoderniseerd, werd de F355 een verkoopsucces voor het Italiaanse bedrijf en word dit type door menig Ferraristi gezien als de laatste "pure" Ferrari. In 1998 introduceerde Ferrari de F1 semiautomatische versnellingsbak gebaseerd op dezelfde technologie uit de Formule 1.
Deze wel heel speciale 355 F1 Berlinetta werd in 1998 in opdracht van haar enige Zweedse eigenaar via Ferrari Denemarken "customized" in Italië besteld. Het is de enige fabrieks geleverde 355 in Azzurro Dino ter wereld. De 355 beschikt tevens over het Fiorano handling pack en de zeer geliefde kuipstoelen. Aangeschaft door een verzamelaar heeft de 355 in 2 decennia slechts 26500 kilometer afgelegd. Deze schitterende wagen is in onze showroom te bezichtigen.
Ferrari introduced the F355 at the end of 1994 as a replacement for the 348 series, which was received by the public with mixed feelings. Although the F355 was largely based on the 348, there were optically and motorically significant changes. Apart from a substantial increase in capacity, a lot of work was done on improving road holding. Optically enormously modernized, the F355 became a sales success for the Italian company and this type is seen by many Ferraristi as the last "pure" Ferrari. In 1998 Ferrari introduced the F1 semi-automatic gearbox based on the same technology from Formula 1.
This very special 355 F1 Berlinetta was ordered "customized" in Italy by order of its sole Swedish owner in 1998 via Ferrari Denmark. It is the only factory delivered 355 in Azzurro Dino in the world. The 355 also features the Fiorano handling pack and the much loved bucket seats. Purchased by a collector, the 355 has covered only 26500 kilometers in 2 decades. This beautiful car can be seen in our showroom.
