Full service history from New\\ Only 500 hundred Built
The open Spider was presented together with the Dino Spider at the Turin Salon in 1966. The body was designed and built by Pininfarina. The Spider had an all-new DOHC engine and a five-speed gearbox. In the spring of 1970 a larger 1600cc engine was added as an option and in 1972 the car was updated again with a new generation of engines. 1972 also saw the addition of the powerful Abarth Rally, with a twin carburettor engine, custom rear suspension and lightweight body materials. When production of the coupe ended in 1977, Fiat stopped selling the Spider in Europe. However, sales continued in North America. From 1978 it was sold with a two-liter engine. In 1982, Pininfarina took over all production and the car changed its name to Pininfarina Spidereuropa. Sales in Europe have resumed. The car's last update was in 1983 with the supercharged Spidereuropa VX. Production of the Spider ended in 1985
