The Fiat 850 and a car produced between 1964 and 1971 , born to fill the gap between the 600 and 1100 (not coincidentally 850 and the arithmetic mean of 600 and 1100) designers decided not to abandon the old Fiat 100 four-cylinder water-cooled engine, they made substantial changes: they reversed the direction of rotation, increased the displacementadai 767 of the 600D to 843 cc (hence the name 850), passing from 29 to 34 horses, which allowed to reach 125 km / h.
