From the Fiat 508C ''New Balilla 1100'' released in June 1937,In March 1959 a further restyling gave birth to the 103 H series (also referred to as the "Tipo Lusso"), which joined the 103 D: the new model differed from the basic version by having a more powerful engine but also richer equipment, more elaborate interior fittings, a different front grille, two-tone paintwork and the addition of chrome profiles and friezes such as the "swallow" on the pigtails.
