59250 original miles
automatic, 4 door, Original 312 cid (rare D code on the vin, was a thunderbird engine and a factory option for Fairlanes). In case that’s confusing, it is indeed the original engine, just a much harder to find option as most ‘57 Fairlanes had the 272/292 Y blocks.
Work done prior to me owning:
——————
-frame off restoration (only the chrome trim and parts that were still in great shape weren’t replaced, was prior to me owning but I should have receipts - was about 25k I believe).
Work done by Reputable Tulsa shops:
—————
-Replaced the exhaust system,
-Converted generator to 165A alternator,
-Replaced control arm bushings,
-Replaced master cylinder
-Replaced serpentine belt
-Trunk and glovebox rekeyed to match the door key (this was a STL, MO locksmith)
Work done by me:
—————
-Replaced all shocks
-Fixed radio/speakers (aftermarket, but match the car and the radio looks like it’s OEM even though it has Bluetooth)
-New battery/Battery cables
-Starter + starter solenoid
Will need to function like new:
—————
-new whitewall tires including spare
-wiper motor
-power steering hoses (might be pump, but unlikely)
-new leaf springs
-New power antenna, has the power base still
-Driver side wheel skirt fixed up and reattached (slight dents/chips from blowout when I moved here in August - no accident occurred and no damage was done).
Might need:
——————
-door/window seals - they just look older and it probably needs them. Not urgent
-battery (been sitting since Aug) - under warranty
Cosmetic:
——————
-Passenger front window(cosmetic crack)/both vents replaced (ugly adhesive spreading), have replacement glass already)
Comes with most receipts + original generator/mount. Can come look at it whenever. Price went down due to it needing new tires (including spare), which means I can’t allow test drives. Battery currently dead (under warranty) and needs starter fluid, but willing to go get the battery replaced and buy the starter fluid prior to you coming if you’re serious.
Might trade depending on what you have. May end up fixing a lot of it depending on when you see this, so if you see the price go up, that would be why.
