motodrome offer this utterly splendid 1968 Ford Mustang 289 V8 Coupe C-code automatic, finished in the ever-popular ‘Bullit’ Highland Green metallic, with white GT-style C-stripes and black interior.
This is a really nicely-specified example, including:
• Power steering
• Power brakes with front discs
• Air conditioning
• Period-style AM/FM stereo with aux function
• 15in Magnum 500 wheels with a matching set of Cooper Cobra tyres
Underbonnet, she runs a 289 cu in V8 matched to C4 3-speed automatic transmission, but is also fitted with 4-barrel carburettor on Edelbrock manifold, export strut braces, alloy air filter and radiator, thermostatically controlled electric cooling fan, and Ford Racing rocker covers.
The last owner imported it from Texas in 2019, has covered just over 1000 miles, and kept it in a controlled environment since, and it’s condition is a testament to him and it’s previous US owners.
It’s odometer reading is just 22000 miles – whilst we’re not in a position to warrant this, we’ve no information to suggest it’s not correct.
Being over 40 years old, it’s ULEZ exempt which is a big bonus.
It is, in my opinion, a very fine Mustang, and both looks and sounds superb. Driving-wise, it’s absolutely fantastic. I’d go as far as to say that it’s the nicest-driving Mustang I’ve ever owned, and without doubt the quickest 289 I’ve had.
On our own website, you’ll find our usual comprehensive video package, which forms part of the description.
