Gateway classic cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present this 1956 Ford Thunderbird
Looking fine in what I believe to be Fiesta Red with white top this is one classy car. Sporting a continental kit with the spare tire mounted to the back and wire wheel with wide white walls this is one good looking car. Looking this car over it is very hard to find anything that I would call a flaw. The interior looks as if it has never been sat on. Under the hood is the Original 312 Y block that has plenty of power to scoot this two-seater along at a rapid pace. A 2-speed automatic transmission also original to the car provides all the gears you need, cruising past the spectators slow and speeding past the rivals fast. This numbers matching, less than 500 miles from a complete restoration, 1956 T bird is the sharpest I have seen in sometime. In 1956 you were a cool hip cat if you drove out of your local Ford dealership in a car like this. Today you would be even cooler driving this car to your local cars and coffee, Class reunion or just the local grocery store. With the choices of hard top, soft or no top this car looks great in every configuration. I have seen many baby birds and this one is the best I have seen in a long time.
Options for this 1956 Ford Thunderbird include: AM/FM radio with cassette player, Power steering and brakes, Telescopic steering wheel, Seat belts, Vinyl interior, Wide white wall bias ply tires on wire rims.
