This absolutely stunning Alvis Speed 25 DHC was delivered new in 1938 to manufacture Paul Negretti and Zamba, later renamed to Negretti Aviation.
In total 536 Alvis Speed 25 have been produced with only 100 examples still existing today where only about 20 Alvis Speed 25 Charlesworth DHC still remaining!

The car is in stunning state and condition, cosmetically as also technically It is in fact a convertible with crank windows, so it never too windy when you drive open. On cooler day the car has the nicest look when the hood is in coupe-de ville positon (half open). The car can be driven open on lovely summer days, closed in autumn and winter days and is ready to hit the road for rally and tour! With much space inside and space in the trunk for luggage it is the ideal car to go on journey and holidays with.
A lovely pre-war car equipped with a 3571 cc, 6-cylinder engine which delivers 115 hp.
Car comes with comprehensive files and documentation, much correspondence, V5 and even with the old English registration book (log book)
The car has been completely restored in the years ’70 and is very well serviced and maintained throughout with invoices presents. In the years ’90 the car has been restored partly with new paint, new tonneau and engine revised. The colour of the interior has been changed. Before it was carried out in ford-olympic-blue while it has been tastefully changed to black leather interior with new adapted carpets also in black with no costs and efforts saved. It is very tastefully and lovely fitted.
The car has become a “film icon” as well. This lovely beauty appeared with moments in Miss Marple film “The Body in the Library” as well as in several series Inspector Wexford.
It is a blast to drive and people turn their heads while driving on the road. She is an imposing vehicle throughout. Registered currently in Germany on German historical oldtimer plates (H-plates).
