The Alvis TD21 is a British sports sedan or Drophead Coupe made by Alvis during the period from late 1958 through October 1963. A revised version of the earlier TC 108G, the bodywork was built by Park Ward. The 2,993cc engine of its predecessor was further developed and now produces 115 hp (86 kW). Our example was first registered in 1961. Since 1994 until now (27 years), the car has remained owned by ééone and the same owner from Oslo, Norway. The owners of the Alvis must have cherished the car as evidenced by the fact that the car is still in pretty original condition. For example, the entire interior appears to be factory original with beautiful patina. The car was once repainted in its original color, the paint is still good but not new anymore. The soft-top appears original but is in need of replacement. Despite the fact that this example needs ‘Tender Loving Care’ it should not be talked about a restoration project, for that the basis is simply too good. The engine runs very well and the car drives and shifts extremely well. It does require a comprehensive inspection and service before regular use of the car. The underside is very solid and completely free of rust. Closer examination also reveals that this car still has its original and therefore ‘matching numbers’ engine in the front. In 2008 the gearbox was overhauled after which the car was hardly ever driven. Not often do we find these cars’s, especially not in this condition, are you the one who gives the car the attention it deserves? This vehicle is located in our DEPENDANCE AND IS ONLY – ONLY / ON APPOINTMENT TO VISIT.
