Fully restored 1960 Mercedes 190SL for sale.
Originally purchased by a Miss Mary Louise Alexander in Texas, the USA on the 12 July 1960. She kept the car 36 years until 1996 together with every scrap of documentation including Fahrzeug-Daten card, Becker radio book en instruction/service books. the first correspondence from Mercedes Benz, the ‘Bereitshaftsstellung from Sindelfingen and the original purchase invoice detailing everything, absolutely unique! The was sold and exported to Holland in 1996 and remained in the same hands for the next 22 years. He commissioned a 2-year restoration project that encompassed a complete body-off restoration and mechanical overhaul. A German specialist revised the Solex carburettors. There is a complete photo reportage of the restoration. The car has an original `Classic White DB50' finish with red leather trim. The bodywork is in mint condition with straight and well-fitting panels. The finish and chrome details are in sublime condition. The underbody is solid and uncorroded. Mechanically the Matching Numbers engine and all instruments function flawlessly.
