Classic Abarth 850 for Sale

This wonderful 1962 Fiat 600 D Derivata Abarth 850 TC first owner was a Mr Dolofero of Sicily, Italy. This very special ‘Derivata’ Abarth 850 TC was initially produced in the Fiat factory and directly after production modified by Abarth to a 850 TC in their Turin factory in September 1962. The original 60’s records are present as well as descriptions by the Automobile Club d’Italia and a certificate D’Registro Fiat Italiano. The modifications included lowered suspension, front disc brakes, ventilated steel rims, the enlarged 847 cc Abarth engine fitted with upgraded manifolds, light alloy oil crankcase, carburettor, air filter, external oil filter and light alloy alternator pulley. The special cylinder head driven mechanical rev counter is present and working. The cooling has an extra radiator, positioned under the cars’ nose and coupled to the original system. Inside it has an Abarth steering wheel and the dashboard is set to Abarth specification with Jaeger speedometer incorporating a trip counter, a rev counter, oil pressure monitor, temperature and fuel gauges. An additional electronic pump was installed to ensure constant fuel delivery. Short after delivery, this car took part in races in Southern Italy. There is a 1965 photo taken at the Pergusa circuit. At some stage in the 70’s and 80’s this car was put into storage. It came to light again in 2006, when two Sicilian brothers discovered the car. Subsequently the car has been fully restored from bare-metal. The well-known specialists Berni Motors of Maleo in the north of Italy completely revised the engine. There is an extensive photographic record of this process. The car is in excellent condition in all aspects. The red interior trim is superbly preserved. The bodywork has great and perfectly fitted body panels. The paintwork and decorative elements are spot on! This real Abarth is not only rare; it has the correct provenance and is in perfect condition!

Gallery Aaldering is a family owned business since 1975. Founder Nico Aaldering and his son Nick are responsible for operational and executive management. The company has been in Brummen since 1987 and started on the location where we currently have our second workshop and detailing shop.
    Moving to Brummen
Nico started very small, with only three employees. People who still work for the company today. The company grew rapidly and established a name for itself based on quality. In the nineties it was time for expansions after many years of selling Alfa Romeo, then Italian cars later on followed by British cars as well. At the end of 2000 Gallery Aaldering moved to the current premises at the Arnhemsestraat in Brummen. This showroom was build according to Nico's idea and sketches and has a Neoclassical style to match the classic cars inside.

    Second generation

During this time Nick entered the company after finishing his studies and working for different automotive companies. Gallery Aaldering expanded and gained momentum with the decades of experience offered by Nico and the bright new ideas and progressive vision offered by Nick. The collection became more diverse with an important move upwards to higher segments. Gallery Aaldering has grown to become one of the largest classic car dealers in Europe. There are about 350 classic cars on display on four floors with a Grand Café and special rooms for business meetings.

As a family owned business Gallery Aaldering is proud of its history and traditions, but the future is just as important. At the heart of this all is the passion for classic automobiles. For that reason we participate in the most impressive classic car rally in the world, the Mille Miglia.

A deeply rooted love for cars. You will find this in both our genes and the identity of this family owned business.
