Citroen B15 CV 1948 for sale
Exterior: Body and paint was restored in 1985 and after this the car has been treated like a baby. Only driven on sunny days and impeccably serviced. The chrome parts are in top condition. It has a tow bar if you want to take it for a camping holiday. We have fitted some chrome rings with a thin white wall after some of these pictures where taken. These can easily be removed. The front screen can be opened at the lower end to let in some cool air in the summer. The appearance of the Citroen 15 CV is something that puts a smile on everyone’s face. It gets a lot of road presence and I think people are surprised that such an old car can keep up so well both in terms of handling and speed with todays traffic. The suspension on these cars is with torsion bars and can be adjusted.
Interior: Perhaps not as luxurious as the outside would imply but a very charming dashboard and instrument cluster. Everything in here is very nice and tidy. The passengers in the back has loads of leg room and makes this limousine a perfect wedding car. In the back behind the spare wheels is the original jack and tools.
Engine: The Citroen Berliner 15CV is often confused with the Citroen B11. But the beauty of the B15 is the six-cylinder engine producing 75hp that gives this car a great sound and a wonderful feeling to drive. You will not win to many drag races, but the three speeds have loads of torque and makes even city driving pleasant for a car of this age. The engine had a complete rebuild at the same time as the rest of the car and works wonderful. A new battery and a 123-ignition system have been fitted in June 2019. No need to worry about those points ever again and you do not need to set the ignition on your own anymore. And the Citroen 15 CV had an oil change at the same
History: Sold new here in Sweden back in 1948 and it looks like there has been only 3 owners. The second owner of the car had it for many years. 1977-2015 and was a mechanic and Citroen lover, and he was the one that put the car in to the fantastic condition it is still today. It come with a large amount of documentation and service records.
Classix by Schiebler is a company offering classic automobiles and sports cars for sale in Sweden. We are conveniently located just 30 km north of Malmö along the E6 highway. However, we have noticed that our customers come from all over the world, and we are only 40 minutes away from Copenhagen airport. We have sold cars manufactured by Mercedes, Porsche, VW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Volvo, SAAB, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Jaguar and many more. Personally, we like GT or "Grand Touring" cars best, but we also offer convertible cars, limousines and coupes. We have spent a considerable amount of time on this website to ensure that you as a customer know what you are about to buy, and we hope you will enjoy it, and find something to your liking. I think everyone in the classic car market has experienced the frustration of spending a lot of time and money to go and see cars advertised, and they were nowhere close to what the sellers have told you. A lot of time and money wasted for both parties! For this reason, we always display a minimum of 20 high resolution images, detailed description and a video of the classic cars and sportscars we are selling.
The small town Löddeköpinge, is well known in Sweden. Here, we have the biggest gathering of vintage automobiles and motorcycles in Sweden every Tuesday evening. There could be more than 500 classic cars if the weather permits. American muscle cars are popular in Sweden but we also have many well-maintained and restored European classics coming to this event. In Löddeköpinge, there are also many workshops if you are in need of any repair.
Michael Schiebler has been working many years with classic cars and now a new classic car dealer is evolving here in Sweden under the same roof. Melvin is focusing more on the youngtimer cars such as sports cars from the eighties and nineties. On the picture we are working together as members of the jury during Classic Days Schloss Dyck in Germany. Judging the Concours d´Elegance seeing so many beautiful automobiles in this castle environment was a great experience. We also do appraisal work for the Swedish Chamber of commerce with classic cars as specialty.
