1966 Iso Rivolta IR300 with original 5.4L Chevrolet 327 V8
This very special Iso Rivolta IR300 used to be part of Andre Trigano`s large car collection/ museum. “This Iso has quite a special story” according to Andre Trigano. “It belonged to a famous jockey who lost control of the car and landed halfway in the Saint-Martini canal on a night out. It was a local Citroën dealer who recovered it.” The car was repaired and then used by Andre Trigano as a daily driver in 1978. With its 5.4-litre Chevrolet Corvette V8 engine, manual gearbox, De Dion rear axle, four disc brakes and the Bertone bodywork designed by Giugiaro, this model leads the way for upcoming Iso cars. Furthermore, it has the advantage of spacious rear seats and a generous glass surface with a bright interior. With its old Parisian number plate 8760 VN 75, this example has the uniqueness of being equipped with fog lights, which are operated by the ‘antinebbia’ control on the dashboard, among a battery of flip switches. The interior is in wonderful condition, it includes a patinated beige upholstery and a wooden dashboard displaying the essential features, such as the Veglia speedometer branded ‘Iso Rivolta’ (as well as the rev counter) and graduated up to 300km/h. This example has been completely checked by our mechanics and is in great working order. We have fitted a new custom stainless steel exhaust system, new programmable injection system, new carpets, etc. Brakes have been revised by the previous owner.
