Iso Grifo was always a very rare Italian sportscar. There were only 413 cars built in total. And unlike the racier Bizzarrini sibling, not many have been duplicated. Personally I think it is one of the coolest Grand Touring cars built in this period.
Exterior: The Iso Grifo for sale here was painted around 20 years ago and still looks very nice today. The brand new Borrani wheels make a great contrast to the burgundy colour. Chrome details are in excellent condition and the underneath of this Iso Grifo looks as good as the top.
Interior: The Iso Grifo has a very nice interior in beige leather. All of the original Veglia Borletti instruments in perfect working order. Air condition to keep you cool on those hot summer days.
Iso Grifo, Maserati Ghibli or Ferrari Daytona?
Engine: The Iso Grifo Corvette 327 engine had a complete overhaul and a few small upgrades. One of these upgrades is a fuel injection system. The fuel injection can only be seen by the trained eye since it is incorporated with the original carburettor. And, it can easily be removed is you prefer to have the car more as when it came from the factory. However, it does increase the performance and still reduces fuel consumption. Another upgrade is the Tremec five-speed gearbox. The five-speed gearbox is perfect for today’s driving conditions. Gives you a great acceleration and still lets you cruise along on the highway at a comfortable rpm.
History: This Grifo 350 GL was in the USA for some time and there it had an extensive restoration. All the original receipts are collected in a folder. This 1967 Iso Grifo for sale was imported from France. And, it was registered in Sweden 2006-10-25. It has been with the same owner since. The car comes with invoices of the work that was done here in Sweden and copies of Technical Control.
