Jaguar achieved unprecedented feats in the automotive industry in the 1960s.
Both the roadster (OTS) and coupé (FHC) became style icons not only of their decade but also of motoring in general, inspiring not only other car manufacturers but also the world of fashion and pop culture.
1966 saw the debut of the 2+2 Coupé version, a long-wheelbase model capable of carrying four passengers.
The stylish British Grand Tourer, in its original incarnation (S1), was produced for just one year, before receiving stylistic updates in 1967.
The example we offer dates from 1966 and retains all the collector-appreciated attributes of the so-called first series.
Although the Jaguar E-Type we offer arrived from the United States in good condition, we decided to undergo a complete and uncompromising restoration in-house. This is evident in every part of the car, both exterior and interior.
The work lasted until early August of this year (2025), but the result was worth every effort.
From the bodywork and paintwork, through mechanical work, to upholstery work – everything was done with the utmost care and to factory specifications.
The rare sunroof accessory, added by select dealers in the American market, also received new upholstery.
Jaguar has full restoration documentation, as well as documentation for the historic car in Poland.
A valuable addition is the original tool kit, which remains with this example.
It's hard to find another E-Type FHC in such good condition and in such an unusual configuration.
Only 3,616 S1 FHC 2+2s were produced, and among those that survive to this day, this one stands out for its competition-quality condition.
In this case, we gain more than just a renowned, historic sports car. Its features fully qualify it for participation in top-tier automotive events and provide strong investment potential.
Besides providing a thrilling driving experience, it also provides financial security.
The car's price is available upon request.
