Woow is pleased to present a fully restored Jaguar E-Type convertible in Lightweight evocation. All the elements have been restored. Presented in a superb « Silver Grey » livery with a body colored hard top, this magnificent example offers the possibility to drive in the most desirable version of the E-Type. Being a Roadster, it is then possible to remove the roof to drive in convertible! Considered as the most beautiful car in the world by Enzo Ferrari, our model pays tribute to the rivalry between Jaguar and the prancing horse with the 250 GTO and takes us on a journey to the mythical circuit of Goodwood.

Concerning the restoration, more than 1,500 hours of restoration were necessary to obtain this result. This real work of goldsmithery allows to reveal an example whose quality of work reaches the perfection.

The body was stripped and then dressed with the specific hood of the Lightweight. The aerodynamic deflectors are also placed on the wings. The rear trunk with its openwork cap allows for the installation of a quick-fill fuel door. The color is one of the most emblematic of the Lightweight.

Mechanically, the whole car has been restored and improved by the specialist Klughertz. The engine remains the original one while the transmission receives a 5-speed synchronized gearbox. The carburation is ensured by 3 Weber double-body of 45mm. A specific intake manifold allowing this improvement has been provided for this purpose. The throttle linkage has been custom made and is cut from the mass. All circuits are mounted in aviation hoses. The cooling is also improved thanks to the installation of an aluminum radiator. The Eiffel Towers of the half frame are new. The ignition with platinum screws is replaced by an electronic ignition. The stainless steel exhaust manifolds are « spaghetti » type. The screws and bolts have been kept and redone or replaced if necessary. The clutch is new

All the running gear has been restored and improved. The calipers are cut in the mass and assure with efficiency their missions thanks to the installation of drilled brake discs. The wheels are fitted with Dunlop rims to improve their rigidity. The damping is provided by Koni Classic in the front and the 4 rear shocks are new.

The black leather interior has been completely redone. The center console is that of a 3.8L in aluminum and still conforms to the Lightweight spirit. The instrumentation has been revised and works. The assembly of all the elements is carefully done. The seats are also the 3.8L buckets with the high profile of the convertibles. The hard top is lined with a headliner. The carpets and rugs are new. A new aluminum pedalboard allows a better use.

The electrical system has also been completely redone. The heating is new and the whole instrumentation has been revised.
