Description

Auto Storica is pleased to announce this Jaguar E-Type OTS Series 3

Considered by many, including Enzo Ferrari himself, the most beautiful car in the world, the Jaguar E Type received numerous and notable changes in its third and final evolution.

The most striking was the replacement of the inline 6-cylinder block with a new V12 of more than 5.3 liters, which offered 272 hp and an astonishing torque of more than 400 Nm, capable of launching the British Roadster up to 240 km/h.

Another important change in this third series was the growth of its wheelbase, exceeding 4.6 meters in length, which translated into greater space in the cabin and an extra storage space behind the seats.

Our unit is in an excellent state of conservation. Its silver paint looks beautiful, and combines exquisitely with the elegant burgundy interior, and with the blue of its recently restored hood.

The mechanics respond with the vigor expected from a V12 of more than 5 liters, and its original equipment, such as air conditioning and power steering, work perfectly.

But the most curious thing is that we have the entire history from the moment of its purchase in 1971. A huge folder with all the detailed maintenance of the last 50 years. Thanks to this, we know that one of its owners was the renowned Swiss Chef Anton Mosimann.

The third Series of the E Type is perhaps the least coveted of the model, but be sure to come see and try this unit, we are sure that at the very least you will leave our facilities wanting to adopt this feline
