Mechanics: Under the long hood lies the impressive 5.3-liter V12 engine, mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. Thanks to excellent maintenance, the mechanical components are in exceptionally good condition. The transmission and driveshaft were overhauled in 1993, followed by a cylinder head overhaul in 2009. In 2016, the engine underwent a complete overhaul, including new cylinder liners, pistons, timing chain, and guides. The crankshaft was ground and fitted with new bearings by Rob Beere Race Engineering in the UK. The car was fitted with a new radiator, stainless steel exhaust system, and all suspension bushings were replaced. The steering rack was replaced in the late 1990s, and the adjustable shock absorbers contribute to excellent handling. The Jaguar also features power steering.
History: This E-Type was delivered new in the United States in 1973 and imported to the Netherlands in 1993. The current owner has maintained it with great care since 2001.
