Description

Jaguar MK II from 1962
A beautiful 6 cylinder example of a Jaguar MK II Saloon. Great power, a strong and powerful 3.8 liter engine, 220 hp, and its excellent handling makes this car a blast to drive. First registered on 28.02.1963

Probably one of the best examples MK 2 currently on the market. This car has been improved and upgraded to even a greater extent. It is maybe not for the “real Jaguar purist” who wishes everything a 100% original but it is for someone who appreciates comfort and style.
This lovely Jaguar came originally from the United States, California in 1999, and was imported to the Netherlands where it has been also fully and body-off restored. The entire engine, gearbox, driveshaft, wheel bearings wiring, fuel and brake lines and many other things have been refurbished or have been renewed.
Its color combination is really charming. Finished in an attractive green shade exterior with an excellent crème leather interior. The seats have been modified and you will sit very comfortable as the front seats have been replaced by XJ seats with corresponding seatbelts for more safety.
An XJ power steering has been also fitted. Numerous small modifications have been carried out, such as a third brake light, new fuses, a new (Quartz) clock and the speedometer has been replaced with one that reads kilometers instead of miles.
Car is equipped with Koni shock absorbers for better handling and the brakes have been upgraded. A larger cooling unit has been fitted in the radiator and an electric fan was added. Stainless steel exhaust system.
The car has been serviced and maintained just recently and is ready to hit the road. In addition to that, the power steering has been revised, dismantled and cleaned. New chrome wire wheels, new tires and new Nardi Mahogony steering wheel fitted.
The powerful engine, the smooth automatic gearbox, the good suspension and the fantastic grip guarantees great driving pleasure.
Even if this car has been modernized, it rests a true English classic with lots of character and style.
If you are looking for a well restored car with character and charm of a real British, this would be your chance now to step in and drive one of the best-driving MK 2.
Registered in Germany on German H old-timer plates.
