Description

A Jaguar XJ coupé is a typical Jaguar. By this we mean that it is a ‘gentlemen’s car’ whose elegance radiates from it. That elegance is in Jaguar's DNA, and we can see that, for example, in the stylish bodywork, the use of materials in the interior, and the suppleness with which the engine turns and the car's handling. When the Jaguar XJ came out in 1968, the public was so enthusiastic that the question was not whether there would be a coupé but when it would appear. By 1973 Jaguar had the XJ6 coupé ready and it was introduced to the general public. A beautiful car with elegant design and which offered the same high level of refinement as the saloon. A total of only 10,000 were built, making this car a rarity. Connoisseurs call this car the ‘pillar-less Jaguar’. Why? Because no pillar is visible when the front and rear windows are opened. The XJ coupé is also known for its large trunk and the ability to refuel on both sides. Our Jaguar XJ6 features a manual transmission with overdrive, which contributes to a dynamic driving experience. The car has been beautifully restored and refurbished with a focus on preserving authenticity, preserving the car's authentic details, something we love and which gives the car its beloved look. This example is finished in a beautiful red body color called Regency Red, which beautifully compliments the Jaguar's lines. It also contrasts brilliantly with the beige interior, which really exudes class. The chrome work, such as bumpers, grille and various accessories, enhance the elegance of this Jaguar. The various parts are in clean condition and the underside of the car looks just as neat.In the interior we find beautiful beige leather upholstery that matches the red paint formidably. The interior has been completely reupholstered and is in very nice condition. The beige leather is of excellent quality, looks like original upholstery in very good condition and the carpets are in beautiful condition. The whole interior is correct. Under the hood we find the wonderful 4.2 liter engine. The engine turns around beautifully and sounds clean. The manual transmission with overdrive functions flawlessly and takes you to another era where cars’s still had a strong identity of their own. You are surrounded by the elegance and comfort that only a Jaguar can offer. The driving experience is fantastic and the entire suspension, along with the tight steering, make you feel like you just picked up the Jaguar from the dealer in 1977.Are you interested in this beautiful Jaguar?
