The XK 150, launched in 1957, represents the pinnacle of XK convertibles, featuring a refined body with sleek lines and a single curved windshield. It also introduced disc brakes, an innovation for its time. Production ceased in 1961.

The model presented is a 1958 XK 150 DHC (Drop Head Coupé).

It has had only three owners. Initially purchased in 1958 in the United States by an airline pilot, it remained in their possession until 1988 when it was imported to England. There, it underwent a complete mechanical restoration, including the installation of electric power steering, a new paint job, and the replacement of the original 3.4-liter engine with a 265-horsepower 3.8-liter S engine.

In 2010, its current owner acquired it and has since ensured its rigorous maintenance. Major works were undertaken in 2010, 2011, and 2012, totaling over 50,000 euros in bills. These works include the addition of a 5-speed Borg Warner manual gearbox to enhance reliability and fuel efficiency, as well as the installation of electronic ignition and a stainless steel exhaust system, among other improvements.
