Description

This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show 2025 on Sunday the 9th of November, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT.
The Jaguar XJ12 was an effortlessly elegant British classic and was the only mass-produced 12-cylinder saloon car available at the time of its launch in July 1972
Powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.3-litre V12, driving the rear wheels through a 3-speed automatic transmission.
Declared built on 05/06/1973 and finished in Jaguar Dark Blue with Biscuit leather, this left-hand drive Series I was supplied new to the US
Requiring complete restoration, there is no V5C present, but with its Jaguar Daimler Trust Heritage Certificate
Supplied with a NOVA Certificate, ready to be registered in the UK by the new owner, owner's manual, radio manual, and a copy of its Pennsylvania Title
An ideal donor car for either body or V12 engine

The Winchester Collection
A number of Jaguars and Daimlers with interesting provenance, including 2 Chassis #1 Daimler Double Six Vanden Plas Saloons, Series I and Series 2, two experimental cars, including an XJ Series 1 and potentially the earliest surviving XJ-S as well as a pair of Donor Cars all offered without reserve. Inspection of these cars is invited, they have formed part of a stalled collection, and as such are offered as is, in need of full restoration but in many cases will prove difficult to resist given their interesting histories.
