1986 Jaguar XJ12 Sovereign

Auto Storica is pleased to announce the sale of this Jaguar XJ12 Sovereign V12 Series III

Launched in 1968, the XJ series is, without a doubt, the British firm's quintessential luxury sedan. And the longevity of its first generation, which was on the market for 24 years, only confirms its success.

The unit we present today corresponds to the third evolution of the first generation, known as Series III, which featured details such as bumpers with black rubber trim, the adoption of single windows in the front doors, and flush-fitting door handles.

Under its enormous hood, we find the most powerful engine available, a 5.3-liter V12, producing 285 hp at 5,750 rpm. A three-speed automatic transmission distributes power to the rear axle, ensuring the driving experience is as smooth as possible while still providing sufficient power when needed.
Its elegant interior, crafted from the finest leather and wood, features a wealth of fully functional equipment, including power windows, a sunroof, and electric mirror adjustment. Any journey in this luxury sedan will become a fond memory.

In short, the Jaguar XJ12 is the perfect car for entering the world of classics with style, but without sacrificing the comforts of a Youngtimer. And with the added bonus of having twelve cylinders under the hood.
