Discovering its Lagonda Club Heritage: The Lagonda 2 Litre has a long-standing association with the Lagonda Club, dating as far back as 1954.
A Remarkable "Barn Discovery"
During a portion of its lifetime, specifically in 1965, the car remained tucked away in a barn for an astonishing 25 years. It wasn't until the early '90s that it saw the light of day once more, resting peacefully in its North Yorkshire barn. Remarkably, the elegant two-door tourer coachwork had weathered the passage of time admirably. This is believed to be the only original T7 Bodied 2 litre Lagonda ever made.
HCS Engine Conversion
This remarkably intact vehicle received significant attention in recent years. In 2019, its body underwent a meticulous repaint, elevating it to one of the most visually appealing 2 Litres on the market. In 2021, the engine received a complete overhaul, including an HCS engine conversion that upgraded it to a solid 2.4 liters and twice the power of the original. The gearbox, differential, and brakes were also comprehensively addressed.
Attention to Detail
To bring the car to its current state of excellence, a new upholstery was skillfully crafted and fitted. Additionally, a new roof and tonneau cover were installed to complete the restoration process, ensuring this Lagonda 2 Litre shines as a true automotive gem.
