The Lancia Montecarlo[2][3] (codenamed Type 137), also called the Lancia Scorpion for the U.S. market and the Lancia Beta Montecarlo from 1975 to 1978, is a sports car produced by the Pininfarina coachbuilder for the Turin-based car manufacturer Lancia from 1975 to 1978 in the first series and from 1979 to 1981 in the second series.
The cars in the first series, produced from 1975 to 1978, were known as Lancia Beta Montecarlo and those in the second series, produced from 1979 to 1981, simply as Lancia Montecarlo.
