The Lancia Delta HF Integrale is a sporty version of the Lancia Delta, explicitly designed to participate in the World Rally Championship, a championship in which it competed from 1988 to 1993, achieving 5 constructors' world titles and 35 victories.
The Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione was born in 1991, the one we know as the Delta Evoluzione or just Evo, to distinguish it from previous versions.
In a more "affectionate" way it is also called "Deltona" among enthusiasts.
Its production is concentrated between 1991 and 1993, and then it is also produced in the 16v catalyzed variant from 1993 to 1994, what we call Evo 2
The Delta Evoluzione boasts widened track widths, more pronounced side and hood curvatures, new brakes and suspension, a stronger steering box, more attractive headlights, all-new miniskirts, better electronics, and a wider, single-ended exhaust. The turbocharged four-cylinder now puts out 205 hp and 300 Nm of torque.
