From the sedan came a sleek, sporty coupe in 1965, which enjoyed good sales, thanks to the beauty of its styling and, later, the impetus from numerous victories in rally racing, culminating in the 1972 International Rally Championship

From the 1970 restyling we note a new, slimmer and more linear grille, bumpers with black rubber protective strip, 5-speed gearbox also on the Coupe 1.3 S (with a 1298 cm3, 90-hp engine), a significant improvement in brakes and front suspension geometry.

It also had more refined equipment such as seats with headrests, deflectors on the doors, complete soundproofing.
