Description

This is a true barn find!!! 1968 Lincoln Continental 65,592 miles very first year of the much desired 460 big block V8, has a 3 SPD Automatic transmission all original except for hood repainted and addition of aftermarket stereo system. Paint is metallic Champagne , roof has been redone from the original vinyl top to a high metallic Rootbeer brown, and it has black interior. This car runs and drives, everything seems to function properly, paint is shiny and panels are straight, interior is mostly in great shape, drivers area seat shows wear, the dash has a crack in it, and rear seat has sun damage at head rest area. This car has been in climate controlled indoor storage since 2011, has not been driven since other than moving it now and again to wash it. Prior to that it was stored in a barn for 17years. This car is nearly all original, had dual Flowmaster exhaust, no holes or rust in floor pans, very clean undercarriage but it does have a few flaws from sitting. It is missing the air cleaner lid, has mismatched wheel covers , it has very spongy brakes, appears to need a new brake master cylinder, it seeps power steering fluid from pump area and has a slight transmission fluid drip coming from the pan area. Power windows are very sluggish, and have not been tested since making sure they were in closed position. Car had very little surface rust and the rust that is present is mostly contained to paint bubbling on rear lower quarter panels by the bumper and in rear deck lid around the emblem and lock area. All this car needs to be a daily driver is a very minor repair involving the spongy brakes. Tons of additional pictures and videos are available on request looking to sell for $28,000 obo
