Description

We are proud to offer a Maserati 3500 G.T.I., one of the most beautiful coupe's ever built. The Carrozzeria Touring in Milano was responsible for this stunning aluminum dress. In combination with the engine originally from racing (from the Tipo 350 S), Maserati offered its first standard road sports car. The G.T.I. version with mechanical injection system was responsible from the beginning of the '60s for a staggering 235 hp.

The GTI offered here was originally born in the color "Nero". The first owner from Brescia (Italy) was probably too hard in the course of time and so he decided to repaint this vehicle in his present and still existing paint (Verde Pavone) already in the early '70s. This work was carried out by Maserati himself at the time. At the end of the 1980s, this Maserati was sold to its second and last owner in Treviso, making it part of a fantastic collection of Italian sports vehicles. This collection was auctioned in a spectacular auction in 2016. The sports coupe offered here was sold as a special highlight due to its low mileage there for over € 250,000. Since the 1980s, it has only been used sporadically for testing purposes, so we assume that the low mileage display of almost 23,000 on the speedometer also corresponds to the actual mileage. Also, the original patinated interior proves a very low degree of wear. The carpets also correspond to the first delivery. Of course, this Maserati is completely "matching". A Maserati Ceritifiat is in preparation.

Before recommissioning, we recommend a careful large inspection to repair the damage to the stand. All in all, the effort is likely to be within reasonable limits. This Maserati 3500 is a piece of contemporary history, stands for "La Vita Bella", as it was produced only in Italy at the time. For many, this design by Carrozzeria Touring is one of the most beautiful sports cars ever built. All Italian original documents are available for this 3500 GTI.
