Maserati Ghibli II GT AM336 2.0 V6 1995
Only 1,093 units were built of this 2.0 series with 306 hp. This GT version features aesthetic and technical improvements, including ABS. It has a 6-speed manual transmission. Original manuals are included. The car is in excellent condition with available documentation. Mileage is 99,973 km. Major service, including timing belt kit and multi-ribbed belts, was performed in 2025 at 98,796 km.
History and Documentation
This Maserati was delivered new on July 18, 1995, by Ferasin Automobili Maserati in Vicenza, Italy, to San Giorgio delle Pertiche, near Lake Garda. The first owner drove 10,000 km in the first three months, indicating enthusiastic use. Maintenance was performed regularly, at least every 10,000 km, with documentation in service booklets and invoices dating back to 1999.
The 2-liter version with 306 hp and a 6-speed manual transmission was only available in Italy. Other countries received the 2.8-liter engine with 285 hp, paired with either a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission. The 6-speed manual and higher power make this example both fun and rare.
This is the GT version, an update of the base Ghibli II (1992–1997), introduced in 1995 as the "Gran Turismo" (GT) version. Key differences include new 17-inch "7-spoke" alloy wheels, black headlight housings, and a modified rear axle. The original suede owner’s kit, including the owner’s manual, delivery document, and service booklet, is included.
In 2010, the Ghibli was imported to the Netherlands and remained with the same owner until 2025. It is currently registered in Belgium. The car comes with numerous maintenance invoices, registration documents, and MOT forms. It is in very good, original condition.
Exterior
The Maserati is finished in gray metallic paint and features original 17-inch alloy wheels manufactured by Mille Miglia. The overall cosmetic condition is good, with minimal signs of use. The wheels are fitted with Michelin tires that still have sufficient tread. Windows and weatherstripping are in good condition, all original, with a damage-free history. The underbody is solid. The design is typical of the 1990s, with a low, wide stance, sharp lines, and subtle curves. Distinctive features include the narrow grille with the Maserati logo, integrated headlights, and muscular wheel arches. The overall look is understated yet powerful, emphasizing performance and Italian style.
Interior
The "Pelle Nero" (black leather) interior is luxuriously appointed and in very good condition, with no damage or significant wear. Upholstery is British Connolly leather with burl wood inlay. The seats are comfortable and electronically adjustable. The rear seat accommodates two passengers. The original Clarion radio/cassette player, speakers, and cassette changer (located in the trunk) are still present. Additional features include an alarm system, climate control, a clock, and electronically adjustable mirrors and windows. The trunk is neat and fully equipped.
Technical
The Ghibli has been well maintained, with regular service every 10,000 km. Unlike base models, the GT is equipped with ABS and a "Ranger" rear axle from the Quattroporte, improving road holding. The V6 engine is in excellent condition, with recent major service.
