The Maserati Quattroporte Series I was produced from 1963 to 1970 in a quantity of 776 pcs. The famous Italian designer Pietro Frua designed this masterpiece. Maserati offered this - at its time - fastest sedan in the world in two versions: a newly designed 8-cylinder engine with 4.2 liters displacement and 260 hp, as well as the high-end version with 4.7 liters and 290 hp. Coupled with the reliable ZF 5-speed transmission, this sports sedan was good for top speeds of beyond 230 km/h. All impose with the 4.2-liter version were on board as standard, such as .B. disc brakes all around, a lot of chrome, fantastic Smith instruments, electric window jacks, beautiful toggle switches, and high-quality, very comfortable leather seats, roof sky in leather, etc.. The Maserati Quattroporte offered here is first delivered in the color of Andalusia to Switzerland. There was a change of holder and for more than 20 years this vehicle has been deregistered. One of the previous owners painted the vehicle in a green tone, which in our opinion was not a Maserati original sound.
At the moment this Quattroporte is located at the company Scartapatti in Mantova / Italy. This company has recently restored our silver award-winning Maserati Quattroporte (see https://scuderia-sportiva-colonia.de/de/fahrzeuge/17-fahrzeuge-verkauft/312-maserati-quattroporte-serie-i-2) Now Scartapatti restores the body of this vehicle, renews the chrome, and will paint it in its original color. The interior is renewed by Maeli in Italy, whereby we attach great importance to the original materials, i.e. the new leather is exactly the type of leather that was also used in the Quattroporte of Maserati at the time. The same applies to carpets. We will completely overhaul the engine and the gearbox of our own workshop. This Quattroporte is completely "matching" and never accidental,
