Bought new in Portugal in 1999 and with the same owner ever since, this Mercedes-Benz G 300 Turbodiesel is one of the most remarkable examples of the strength, build quality and longevity that made the G-Class a benchmark in the history of the brand.
For almost all of its life it was serviced by the official Mercedes-Benz network, strictly following the factory maintenance plans. In recent years the same philosophy was kept, using only genuine Mercedes-Benz parts.
It is fitted with the renowned OM606 straight-six engine, fully original and never opened, and it runs flawlessly, with a truly unusual level of preservation. The body is excellently preserved, the interior shows minimal wear, the plastics are intact and all controls work with the solidity typical of Mercedes-Benz of this era.
Its condition was recognised internationally in 2009, at the official 30th anniversary celebrations of the G-Class at the Graz factory in Austria, where it was distinguished as the highest mileage example at the event and, at the same time, one of the best preserved.
The car comes with all original documents, service books and maintenance history, as well as several genuine Mercedes-Benz accessories, including a roof box bought new and never used.
In a market where many G-Class have lost their originality, been modified or poorly maintained, this one stands out for its authenticity, known history and consistent preservation over more than two decades.
