Powered by a 5,547cc single overhead cam M117 V8 engine, it offers 296bhp and 336lb.ft of torque through a four-speed automatic gearbox.
The 1989 model-year 560 SEL was well equipped with standard anti-lock brakes (ABS), traction control, a driver-side airbag, self-levelling rear hydraulic suspension, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front and rear seats, a power rear bench seat, and a functional power antenna.
