1959 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster

Vehicle history:

This Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster was completed on May 19, 1959, as a special edition for the U.S. market. The special equipment included a Becker Mexico radio, a 1:3 rear axle ratio, and a tire pressure gauge (English).
This beautiful SL was factory-finished in white with black leather. As part of a complete restoration, the roadster was repainted. The engine was replaced over time with a very late-model engine from 1962. The current owner purchased this gem 11 years ago and is now passing the vehicle on to loving hands. A Mercedes-Benz data card is included, as is the original type plate. The original steering wheel is included with the vehicle.
