The SLS AMG GT was offered as a coupé and roadster and produced 591 hp (435 kW). With optimized transmission tuning and AMG RIDE CONTROL performance suspension, it sprinted to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. With a lap time of under 7:30 minutes on the Nordschleife, the GT proved its performance capabilities. The market launch began in October 2012, in the USA from November 2012, with first deliveries in Japan in March 2013.
